<aside> 💡 PROJECT 100

In June 2020, I was inspired to start a new project after coming across an article on Medium where someone documented their experience doing 100 days of vector illustration. I've always wanted to learn how to do digital illustrations so I thought, what better time to learn a new skill than during a pandemic?
The theme I chose for this project was GRATITUDE, so every one of these vectors was inspired by something I am grateful for. Right now, I'm just past a quarter of the way through so we've got 75 more to come! I've been primarily using Sketch as it's the tool I'm most comfortable with and I was curious to see what I could create with it. Very keen to start upskilling in Adobe Illustrator soon and creating some things on there.

Autumn tree This was the first vector I did. The colours of the branches inside the leaves and the leafy part itself were actually created unintentionally whilst playing around with some of the features in Sketch.
Coffee in the morning Inspired by my somewhat reliance on caffeine since we started trying to establish early morning wake-ups (6AM) as a habit.
Wine I've always been a bit reluctant when it comes to drawing (either physically or digitally) people, and I've attempted many times in the past without much success. Thought I'd give it another shot with a different technique and I was quite happy with how this one turned out. This one's based off a photo my sister took of me when we went to 'Locale' at De Bortoli Yarra Valley early this year (pre-COVID times).
